National Comedy Theare-NY, the improv theater I have called my home for the last 3.5 years will be shutting it's current doors for good on 9/27/14.
I will be performing in the 7:30 show and then celebrating and watching as a fan for the 9:45 show. It will be a very fun night and I would love to see as many of you as possible even if it's just for celebratory beer and popcorn

"After 10 years in our beautiful theatre, which we designed and built, our wonderful landlords have decided to double the rent, which means that we will be vacating our space at the end of this month.
While we are certainly heartbroken to be leaving our home for the past decade, with more than 2000 shows performed here, we couldn't be prouder of what we have accomplished over that time. There have been few shows in Broadway or off-Broadway history that have been performed that many times, and we owe so much to our loyal fans who kept returning year after year to share the fun with us.
We are currently hunting for a new theatre location in Manhattan, and hopefully we will be able to reopen sometime during 2015.
In the meantime, this month is your last chance to see the amazing National Comedy Theatre perform our public shows in NYC.
We will, of course, continue to perform our private and road shows,
and our San Diego and Phoenix operations are still going strong,
but sadly we won't be able to see you at our theatre on 36th St.
after September 27th.
We sincerely hope to see many of you at our final performances this month. There's only 16 more performances left and we look forward to seeing you there and having a chance to take this out with a bang.
Our final shows are this month, every Friday and Saturday night at
